Why then, when I first heard about Simana Santa year ago - the imagination of the New Year drew me a picture. Probably it is connected with the word Santa and the association with the Santa Claus? I do not know, but I know for sure - this week come. Week earlier and ending with Easter Sunday - came to Venezuela in particular at Margarita.
This pilgrimage I have not seen a long time. Within a couple of weeks before the Simana Santa - lost all air tickets in the direction of Margarita. Four ferries, each of which takes on board for 200 cars - Go to mode non stop. Positions of police and guards at every intersection. The whole island - one big traffic jam.
Beaches, beaten to such an extent that sometimes you can not just pass through, not to mention the fact that to lie down. And the music .....
Our, quiet and the lovely El Yaque - turned into a teeming hive. In the village not possible to travel by car (thank God rescues a motorcycle).
Beach is closed to skiing. Surfers and kiters - fun in that regard, and who are already lucky, and feels and evaluate the work of Venezuelan Surgeons - beauticians))).

AND on to sledok. Despite the horrific density of tourists, a huge amount of alcohol consumed, an unprecedented road traffic - around remarkably calm and relaxing atmosphere. No aggression, no conflict - continuous positive and rumba )))).
